Mantrac Egypt Machines goes sky-high

Mantrac Egypt has lately received an honorary certificate from the Distribution Office Management at Caterpillar AME (Africa & Middle East) for the outstanding achievement of selling 509 units in 2009 and reaching a sales volume of 96 million for the first time ! This figure was endowed with value given the critical time in which it has taken place as the entire world struggles to come to terms with ramification of the global financial crisis. It was not actually luck that made reaching this figure possible, It was mainly due to two major factors: First, the cross country coverage that enabled Mantrac to achieve a 35%-40% increase in the numbers of customers. In addition to this, the machines team raised that year the “zero problems” slogan which involved finding immediate solutions for all the pending problems with already existing customers which regained their trust and, therefore, incited them to buy more machines. Second ,during that year Mantrac carried out an expansive follow-up on public sectors and governmental projects in Egypt and these had a considerable share in the deals secured throughout 2009. also the sectors targeted by Mantrac included those which have not sustained major damages results the financial crises like the road construction sector and cement factories, especially the newly opened.

New ManBIZ System is now online

Following the positive customer feedback received from Mantrac's first online Electronic business system: “EBiz”, the features and functionality have now been revisited, developed and improved under the name of “ManBIZ” : www.manbiz.com.eg
In addition to the original “EBiz” features of Parts Price & Availability inquiry, the new ManBIZ functionality covers the following:
• Customers will no longer be expected to manually type in each part number. The new system provides the ability to upload parts lists electronically using an excel template provided in the website
• Financial statements will be accessible via the customer ManBIZ account (enabled by the Group wide deployment of eCoda) - providing up to date information (based on the previous day) on the financial account position of their company at Mantrac to see outstanding balance and transaction records.
Other enhancements include a “Shopping Cart” and “Wish List” principle of storing and sending parts lists to be quoted. Embedded demo & tutorial multimedia presentation will also be available on the site along with help and FAQ sections and the ability for profile maintenance and password re-setting.
All to be available online 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year and to be used at times that are convenient to the customer.

Cairo ICT fair: Mantrac Egypt ‘s powerful presence enhanced

This year, the IT Distribution Department at Mantrac Egypt took part in Egypt’s most renowned technology fair Cairo ICT for the first time since its inception 15 years ago.

The fair, which was inaugurated by Egypt’s Minister of Communication and the United States ambassador , featured a combination of several fields that sum up the technological demands of the 21st century like telecommunications, satellites, and information technology to mention a few examples.

With a spacious location that occupied 170 square meters, Mantrac assumed its position amongst top-notch technology companies like Oracle and HP. The fair constituted an excellent opportunity for Mantrac to acquaint the visitors with the variety of brands sold by the IT Distribution Department such as Lenovo, IBM, DELL, Fujitsu, Packard Bell, Microsoft, and others.  A free laptop was also offered to one lucky visitor every day through a draw.

Vendors and representatives of these brands in Egypt expressed how impressed they were by Mantrac’s booth and particularly the way the products were displayed. Mantrac booth was one of few booths that gained the attention and appreciation of the Minister of Communication and the American ambassador. In fact, the powerful presence of Mantrac in the fair bore fruit when several significant deals were signed afterwards.

There was also no better place for Mantronix than Cairo ICT to present Samsung’s latest LED TV which played a major role in attracting visitors to the booth with its combination of elegant design and premium picture quality.

Mantrac Egypt ranks first in Preventive Maintenance (PM) accuracy scored 88% performance precision:

Mantrac Egypt has successfully managed to maintain 88% service accuracy and ranked first in a landslide victory with the next dealer achieving only 80%.
 
Mantrac Egypt, thus, emerged as the dealer with the most unsurpassed CSA service within a quite expansive region.
 
In the third quarter of 2009, Egyptian customers enrolled in CSA have reached a total of 750-200 on Construction Machines, 429 on Electric Power Generation, and 121 on Marine Equipment.
 
Those figures constitute the best indication of the excellent service customers are provided with as well as serve to forecast the acquisition of more CSA members throughout 2010.

Second COM class celebrates graduation

In October 2009 Mantrac Egypt celebrated the graduation of the second class of Certified
Organization Managers (COM), in which the title was awarded to 35 of the companys, distinguished employees.
 
The celebration was met with extreme enthusiasm on the part of all attendees who viewed the proposed program as a two-way lucrative investment as it enhances the capabilities of company employees and offers one of the best strategies of investing in workforce capacities and setting a role model as far as talent training is concerned.

CRM: Towards a new customer relations culture

The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is now officially the newest addition to the Mantrac Group divisions, following the online launch of the ManCRM software earlier this year.
 
The groups decision to adopt the CRM philosophy marks a significant breakthrough as far as the advancement of services offered to customers is concerned. CRM is comprised of a system of strategies and processes aimed at enhancing the level of interaction between the company and its customers.
 
The CRM software system offers a better understanding of customers needs through conducting polls and surveys and constitutes an ideal medium for promoting new products and attracting new customers as well as developing tighter bonds with already-existing ones.

Mantrac in the forefront: Power Systems website gets 1st prize

Last September, the AME Electric Power Retail Division at Caterpillar organized a competition for the best website design amongst its authorized dealers.
 
Mantrac Group ranked first, winning the first prize, 12,500 US Dollars.
